Half & Whole Cows

100% Grass Fed, Grass Finished Beef

 

Our cattle enjoy roaming and foraging in our lush pastures. They enjoy the fresh air and sunshine at Lucky 3 Farm every day and are never confined in small spaces. We raise our cattle with time, care and humanity and you can taste the difference! It typically takes our steers 24 months to "finish".

 

They eat grass from our pastures, no chemicals hay we grow & bale ourselves, and no chemicals silage we grow & cut ourselves. They NEVER get grain.

 

This results in amazingly flavorful, gourmet beef you won't find anywhere else! Our customers consistently rave about Lucky 3 Farm beef.

 

Our cattle are processed at a local USDA, Animal Welfare Approved processing facility. The beef is vacuum packed and flash frozen to seal in flavor.

Half/Whole Cow Order Form

 

 

Half Cow

 

Our half cow is $12/lb based on the final hanging weight at the processor. A typical Lucky 3 Farm half cow hanging weight is ~262 lbs and will usually yield ~235 lbs of meat. Estimated final cost will be $3144

 

Prices INCLUDE slaughter, cutting, packaging, transportation, and sausage making. We will also pick up the finished meat from the processor for you.(Exception: if you choose all boneless cuts, our processor charges an additional fee which we will pass on to you.) You will then pickup from the farm at your convenience. 

 

---Beware of farms that have a low cost per lb, but then make you pay separately for slaughter, processing, and sausage making.---

 

Whole Cow

Because of high demand, we will not be offering Whole Cow purchases until further notice. 

 

Our whole cows are $11/lb based on the final hanging weight at the processor. A typical Lucky 3 Farm whole cow hanging weight is ~525 and will usually yield ~470 lbs of cuts. Estimated final cost will be $5775..

 

Prices INCLUDE slaughter, cutting, packaging, transportation, and sausage making. We will also pick up the finished meat from the processor for you. You will then pickup from the farm at your convenience.

*NOTE: A whole cow must be done on one order form. If you are splitting with friends, give us one cut sheet and then you divide up the meat as you'd like once you get it. We encourage you to purchase a whole cow and split with friends - you'll realize savings this way.

 

 

Pickup/Delivery

 

You can pick up your beef directly from the farm. We'll let you know a week in advance when your beef will be ready to pick up and the remaining balance due. Then, we can arrange a time for pickup.You will need to have someone pickup who can easily lift 50+ lb boxes. The farm address is 132 Bartholomew Rd, Louisburg NC. Please be aware we do not have the best cell coverage in our area, so be prepared for your GPS to potentially not work well. Cell number is 919-795-2028.

  3. Order your beef by paying the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.

  4. We'll send you a confirmation and keep you updated on the status of your beef.

  5. Get your chest freezer ready to receive all that delicious beef and be prepared to pay the balance.
